Linn CD players.. Jitter and clocks
Are any Jitter solutions available for any Linn players.. Im now moving away from CD as a medium since I picked up my Akurate DS but I keep reading a lot of articles about "apathy" from manufacturers regarding Jitter, and how it can be fixed by upgrading to a rock solid clock.
Any thoughts..

Re: Linn CD players.. Jitter and clocks
Beware cheap clock upgrade solutions. In my opinion you would have to spend more on the clock than the value of the rest of the player to obtain a perfect solution. Once you go down this route the problem is your going to effect the balance of the overall design and the sound itself. It may seem a quick fix but its not that simple and though you could end up with a different sounding player,it may not neccessarily be a better sounding player.
